I’ve lived in Edinburgh for almost ten years and there are still two things that get me very excited each year;

  1. when the first snowflakes fall in winter
  2. when the first blossom makes an appearance in spring.

Edinburgh is a beautiful city at the best of times but it truly is absolutely stunning during spring and summer. I mean just look at Princes Street Gardens:Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com

And then there’s Leith. This beautiful blossom is just at the end of my road on Pilrig Street.Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com

Walking home from a hospital acupuncture appointment for my MS I stopped to take this sunny photo looking down a typical Edinburgh street.Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com

I think my favourite location in the city during this time of year has to be the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh.Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.com Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh - brunchandnaps.comBotanic pics
