Following the success of my last Christmas nails, I took inspiration from them and decided to focus on Christmas puddings.

Tutorial:

I started with a neutral Models Own base on all of my nails. Once this had dried I added big brown circles using a large dotting tool. These didn’t have to be too neat as I was adding to them later on. I also added a couple of bright red dots in the corner of a couple nails for the holly berries.

Once the brown had dried I added white icing using my BarryM nail art pen. I drew a line around half of the pudding, then dots below the line and drew up to connect then to the outer edge. To the red berries I used BarryM and a smaller dotting tool to draw on the holly leaves.

Next I added the tiny holly leaves and berries to the top of the puddings. I used a very small dotting tool (you could also use a tooth pick).

Once everything was dry I added a coat of my favourite Rimmel 3D plumping top coat. The provides a super glossy finish and dries really quickly.

My verdict

I love these nails, I think they are so cute and although they were quite fiddly, they didn’t actually take too long to do.
