If you follow me on Instagram then you might have already guessed that my blog will be taking a bit of a different angle from now on. I’m not turning into a full-blown ‘mummy blogger’ but my life and priorities have definitely changed a bit. Not only did I give birth to our beautiful baby Ivy in April but we also moved into our new family home out in Midlothian in May. Now I’m finally feeling settled and getting into my new groove, I have SO much to share with you all!
When Ivy was born we were given a card with ‘EAT, SLEEP, POOP, REPEAT’ on it and this really summed up life in the early days. Now Ivy is 4 months old this is still applicable but there’s also so much more. She is the most inquisitive little girl, always looking around and showing interest in everything. It sounds like a cliche but it is hard to remember life without her. The love I feel for her is the most overwhelming and amazing emotion I have ever experienced! I couldn’t be prouder of her already.
I’m writing this while wee Ivy has a rare nap and she’s just started stirring so I better go for now, but I’ll back soon with a new baby-related blog post detailing what I’ve learnt over the past few months (spoiler – I’ve learnt A LOT!)
