Christmas is just around the corner and I am feeling fantastically festive. In case you’ve missed it on Instagram or my Facebook page, I’m doing a daily #ChristmasJumperCountdown where I wear a different festive jumper every day in December. But that’s not all I’ve been doing, here’s what else I’ve been up to…

Festive food

I was invited to try out Frankie and Benny’s new festive menu so I thought I’d take along the family-in-law to be and have a wee party. We had great fun and the staff were lovely, but I have to admit that the festive menu couldn’t really have been less festive. The crackers and party hats definitely helped!

An organised Christmas

This year I have been more organised than every with my Christmas shopping. I used my organiser to keep track of what I’ve bought and whether I’ve received it if I bought it online. Now I’m all sorted and just need to start wrapping!

Christmas jumper cocktails

There is a wee bar in Edinburgh called Treacle and they have an offer on in December where you get a free Southern Comfort cocktail if you’re wearing a Christmas jumper – so go on, get your knitwear on!

Festive nail art

I have painted many different festive nail art designs over the years and this year is no different. This holly design is really easy to do using dotting tools (such as these from Models Own) so go on, give it a go yourself!

Christmas in Edinburgh

Edinburgh truly is the most magical place at Christmas and this year has been one of the best. I managed to get free tickets to the Virgin Money Street of Light show on the Royal Mile and it was spectacular! Even if it was pouring with rain.

Christmas holiday decorations

For the past few years, every time I go on holiday I buy a Christmas decoration from the country I’m in. I love decorating our tree and reminiscing about all the places we’ve been to. Here are just a few:
